Do you accept private commissions?

Yes, I am currently accepting private commissions. Please do get in touch using the contact form and we can discuss your requirements further.

How long should I expect to wait for my commissioned piece to arrive with me?

This depends on size, materials and how busy my practice is at the time. Most commissioned pieces tend to take 6 to 8 weeks plus shipping time. If you are in a hurry and need something sooner, please let me know and I will do my very best to meet with your time frame.

Which mediums do you use?

For my landscape paintings I primarily use oil paints on either gesso panel or canvas.

Do you ship overseas?

I am happy to ship to most places around the globe but if your country is not listed at checkout, please do get in touch via the contact form and I will look into shipping prices for your country. Please be aware that shipping costs for paintings on panel and canvas are likely to be more than those for works on paper.

When shipping overseas, who pays the customs fees/ import charges?

Please kindly note that Sally Marie Gardner Art is not responsible for any customs fees and/or import duties you might incur. Unfortunately, I have no control over these charges and cannot inform you what the cost may be as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. If in doubt, I recommend contacting your local customs office for information before ordering.

Who owns the rights to your artwork once it has been purchased?

I retain all rights to all of the artwork I have produced, even those paintings which have been sold or commissioned. I also retain the right to make prints or reproductions of any or all of my artwork. The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in anyway without written permission.

Where are you based?

I live and work in the Yorkshire Dales, U.K. My lovely studio, with views over the fells, is attached to the side of my home.
